The world isn’t going to last forever; neither are humans. The world isn’t a renewable resource and its not invincible either. Throughout history that are countless examples of the world becoming uninhabitable due to natural disasters. What happened in the past is happening again but this time humans only have themselves to blame for this. Nature will always be a threat, but the greatest enemy humans have is themselves. Some of the effects of global warming are; climate change, natural disasters and a overall threat to mankind. Global warming is one of these threats to the earth. It has always been around and always will be. It in itself isn’t actually a bad thing. Man made Global warming is the real problem. With the population expanding and technology advancing this is becoming more and more dangerous and we need to stop it.One of the major consequences of global warming is the rise in sea level. This happens because of thermal e-xpansion as well as melting glaciers and polar ice caps. Rising sea levels mean that coastal and port cities may soon be submerged in water. It can also cause erosion, flooding and lost habitat for fish, birds, and plants. Raised water levels also assist storms in becoming more powerful.Natural disatures is just a part of living on earth they have always happened and they always will. The true issue does not steam from them occuring it comes from the severeness and intensity of these disatures brought on by global warming. A growing issue that has become more and more prevelevent as the years go by is heat waves. The global tempature has increased by 1.6 ferineight since the year 1905. This makes heatwaves even deadlier than they already are. With more frequent heat waves forest fires become more common which then leads to damadge in cities and decreased health in humans due to the smoke. While hurricanes always been a natural part of the climate. Studies show that there has been an increase in intense hurricane activity in the world since the 1970s. In the future, it is less likley for there to be more hurricanes, but they will be more intense and have higher wind speeds as a result of global warming. The year 2017 has seen the most hurricanes since 2005 and the earth has seen a dramatic increase in huricane activiaty in the last 40 years. The impacts of this are likely to worsen from the sea level rise and a growing population along coastlines. ¬†Although it is not only nature being effected by global warming. Humans are also directly suffering from global warming. pollution from cars, powerplants, gasoline and burning coal produce ground level ozone. commonly known as smog which humans breathe in as poor air quality. Illnesses will also become more widespread as the bugs no longer die in the winters due to rising tempatures.
